# Your dashboard

> The page LatentCast opens on: what waits for you, how your team's work stands, and where to start something new.

**Where:** Dashboard, the first entry in the sidebar. It is the page you land on after signing in.

The **Dashboard** answers two questions the moment you sign in: what is waiting for you, and how
your team's work stands. Every line on it is a way in. Press it and you land on the page where you
act.

![The Dashboard with three tasks and six cards](https://mintcdn.com/latentcast/yNBepBA0vCwbjCmp/images/guides/dashboard.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=yNBepBA0vCwbjCmp\&q=85\&s=bdf5329f8c18bd826b63680e1f44a6bc)

The Dashboard: Your tasks on top, folded to three, then Your team, one card per area of work and one for your campaigns.

## Your tasks

What waits for you, newest first. Three tasks show; **Show N more** opens the rest. Each row names
the task, the campaign or profile it belongs to and how long it has waited, and carries one button
that takes you straight to it.

| Task | Button | Where it takes you |
| - | - | - |
| **Consent requested for …** | **Review** | Your casting request, where you choose an avatar and a voice and consent |
| **Replace your proxy for …** | **Replace** | The casting request whose proxy the campaign manager sent back |
| **Review the narratives of …** | **Review** | The batch's narrative review |
| **Resolve the failures of …** | **Open failures** | The batch's failed recipients, each with its reason |
| **… is blocked** | **Open campaign** | The batch on *Campaign details*, with what holds it |

A task leaves the list once it is done. When nothing waits, the section says *No tasks for you right
now*.

## Your team

Five agent cards, one per area of work, and a sixth for your campaigns.

| Card | What it counts |
| - | - |
| **Casting Agent** | Casting requests for you, viewing pages that use your proxy, and the presenters in your organization still waiting to consent |
| **Storytelling Agent** | Signed-off stories, your draft stories, stories updated in the last seven days, and open translation requests |
| **Personalization Agent** | Signed-off profiles and canvases, and your draft profiles and canvases |
| **Distribution Agent** | Your campaigns in progress, active viewing pages, batches in production, and personalized stories |
| **Insights Agent** | Recipients who opened their page, and videos played |
| **Your campaigns** | Your campaigns in progress, each with how far it is and its next step |

**Each big number is a link.** Press it and its list opens, filtered to the same items: the number
on the card is the number of rows you get. **All campaigns** on the last card opens *Campaigns*.

**Yours and your organization's.** A number whose label says *your* counts your own work: the
stories, profiles, canvases and campaigns you created. The others count your whole organization.

Tasks and campaigns stay current on their own: when a batch moves on or a presenter consents, the
Dashboard follows without a reload.

## Do

**1. Clear your tasks**

Press the button on a task. It opens the exact page, and the task goes once you have acted.

**2. Start a campaign**

Press **New campaign**, give it a name and press **Create**. Its
**campaign guide** (A campaign's own page: five stations from the Video Story to the reviewed manifest, with the next step marked.) opens and takes you through the
story, the recipients, the profile, the presenters and the batches. See
[The campaign guide](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/campaign-guide.md).

**3. Start a story on its own**

Press **New story** for the story wizard, the same one **Stories** opens. See
[Make the Video Story](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/first-campaign/make-the-story.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> **An account with the Viewer role opens on Stories.** The Dashboard counts the work of the people
> who make stories and campaigns, so a Viewer does not see it.
